The visit by Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) Langkawi to LTP Belanga Pechah provided an opportunity to review the facility’s environmental management and operational practices in line with applicable regulatory requirements. During the visit, representatives carried out site inspections and participated in technical discussions covering key areas such as leachate treatment operations, environmental monitoring, pollution control measures, and overall site management. The engagement also enabled the exchange of technical knowledge and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement in environmental performance. Through regular engagement with relevant authorities, UJSB continues to uphold responsible operational practices, strengthen environmental compliance, and support the sustainable management of waste facilities.
